Specify before pressure arrives
A plan should identify the setup, entry trigger, invalidation point, position size, profit logic, and conditions for standing aside.
Decisions made before entry are generally less distorted by fear and hope.
Review the decision, not only the outcome
A sound trade can lose and a poor trade can win. Review whether the process was followed and whether the assumptions were reasonable at the time.
Long-term improvement comes from refining decisions, not chasing isolated outcomes.
