More damaging is decision fatigue: repeated exposure to fast outcomes can erode selectivity.
Measure opportunity quality
Track trades by setup quality, not only by profit or loss. A profitable low-quality trade can reinforce behavior that later becomes expensive.
The objective is not maximum participation. It is maximum discipline per unit of risk.
